Terms of service

Effective October 20, 2026

These are the terms for using this website and for the website builds and care plans I sell. The written quote for your project comes first: if it says something different from this page, the quote wins.

Who these terms are with

Services are provided by Luke Inglis through Inglis Holdings LLC, Corpus Christi, Texas. "I" and "me" on this page mean Inglis Holdings LLC. "You" means the business I'm working for.

Quotes

Prices on the website are starting prices. Before any work begins, you get a fixed quote in writing that lists what's included and the total. That number doesn't move. Anything you ask for later that isn't in the quote gets its own written quote, and I don't start on it until you say yes.

Paying for a build

• A deposit of half the quoted price starts the work.
• I show you the design. You pay the rest once you've seen it and approved it.
• Invoices are sent by email and paid online through Stripe. Each invoice shows when it's due.
• Prices don't include sales tax. Where tax applies, it's added to the invoice.

If you decide not to go ahead after work has started, the deposit covers the work done up to that point and isn't refunded. If I can't deliver what the quote describes, I'll refund your deposit in full.

Who owns the site

Once the build is paid in full, the website, its content, and the domain are yours, in your name. I don't rent your site back to you. Some parts, like fonts, plugins or stock photos, come from other companies and stay under their own licenses, which I'll tell you about if they apply.

You keep ownership of everything you give me, like your logo, photos and text, and you confirm you have the right to use it on your site.

Showing your site as my work

I'll only feature your site or name on my website or anywhere else with your written permission.

Care plans

• Care plans are billed monthly or yearly, in advance, to the card or bank account you choose. Payment is automatic through Stripe.
• There's no contract. You can cancel any time from the Billing page of the client portal, or by calling me. The plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and partial months or years aren't refunded.
• To change plans, call me and I'll switch it over.
• Each plan includes a monthly amount of content-edit time. Time you don't use in a month doesn't carry over.
• If a payment fails, Stripe retries it and emails you. If it still can't be collected, I may pause the plan until it's sorted out. Your site and files stay yours either way.

Leaving

If you cancel your care plan or move your site somewhere else, I'll send you the site's files and help whoever takes over get set up. Your domain is already in your name, so there's nothing to transfer back.

Hosting and uptime

I monitor the sites I host, and I work to fix problems quickly, including outside business hours when a site is down. Still, no one can promise a website will never go down. I'm not responsible for outages caused by things outside my control, such as a hosting provider, a domain registrar, or a service your site connects to.

Other companies' services

Your site may link to or work with other companies' services, like a reservation system, an online ordering system, or Google. Those services have their own terms, and I'm not responsible for how they work or for changes they make.

Limits of responsibility

I do careful work and stand behind it. Beyond what's written in your quote and on this page, the websites and this site are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost business, and my total responsibility for any claim is limited to what you paid me in the 12 months before it.

Using this website

The information here is general and may change. Please don't use the contact form or client portal to send spam, try to break in, or interfere with how they work.

Texas law

These terms are governed by the laws of Texas. If a dispute can't be worked out by talking it through, it will be handled in the courts of Nueces County, Texas.

Changes

I may update these terms. The version in place when you sign your quote applies to that project. For care plans, I'll tell you about any change at least 30 days before it takes effect.
