Privacy policy
Effective October 20, 2026
The short version: I collect only what I need to call you back, do the work, and get paid. I don't sell it, I don't run ads, and there are no tracking cookies on this site. If you want something deleted, call or email and it's done.
Who I am
lukeminglis.com and clients.lukeminglis.com are run by Luke Inglis through Inglis Holdings LLC, Corpus Christi, Texas. Questions about anything on this page go to me directly: (512) 588-7252 or lukeminglis@gmail.com.
The contact form
When you send the form, I get your name, phone number, and whatever else you choose to fill in (email, best time to call, what you need). It arrives in my email inbox so I can call you back. The form also records your IP address and the time you sent it, which I use only to filter out spam. The form itself doesn't save your message anywhere else.
I won't add you to a mailing list or pass your details to anyone.
Visitor statistics
I count visits with analytics software I host myself. It uses no cookies, doesn't follow you to other websites, and doesn't store your IP address. It records which pages are viewed, the website that sent you here, your browser and type of device, and your country. It also counts clicks on my phone number and uses of the contact form, so I know which parts of the page help people get in touch.
Server logs
Like almost every website, my server keeps a short technical log of requests: IP address, the page asked for, browser, and time. I use these logs only to keep the site running and secure. Web server logs are deleted after 14 days. The contact form's own log, which notes the sender's name and IP address so I can trace spam, is kept for up to 30 days.
Clients
If you're a client, I also keep what's needed to run your website and your account:
- Client portal. Your sign-in email and a scrambled (hashed) version of your password, which nobody, including me, can read back. Signing in sets one cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 12 hours. It's the only cookie I set, and only on clients.lukeminglis.com.
- Support requests and reports. Change requests you send through the portal, which are also emailed to me, and the monthly reports I upload for you.
- Business records. Quotes, invoices and notes about your project, kept as long as you're a client and for as long afterward as tax law requires.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. When you pay an invoice or start a care plan, you type your card or bank details into Stripe's page, not mine. I never see or store your full card number. Stripe handles your payment information under its own privacy policy. I can see what Stripe shows any business: your name, email, billing address, what you paid, and the last four digits of your card.
Who else sees your information
Only the services I need to run the business:
- Google, which hosts my email, where contact form messages and support requests arrive.
- Stripe, for payments.
- The company that hosts my server.
I don't sell or rent your information, and I don't share it for advertising. I'd only disclose it otherwise if the law required me to.
Websites I build for clients
This policy covers my own websites. Each site I build for a client belongs to that client and has its own privacy terms. When I host a client's site, information its visitors send (like a reservation question or a form message) belongs to that business. I handle it only to keep the site running.
Your choices
You can ask me what I have about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Call or email and I'll take care of it within a few days. The only things I can't delete on request are records I'm legally required to keep, such as invoices.
Children
This site is for businesses and isn't meant for children under 13. I don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If I change how I handle information, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
